Our Basketball Goal
At the heart of our program is a clear and ambitious goal: to guide each of our student-athletes toward earning opportunities at prestigious Division 1 colleges and, ultimately, to pursue careers in professional basketball. We provide elite-level training, exposure, and mentorship—preparing our players to compete at the highest levels while maintaining academic excellence and discipline. Every drill, every practice, and every game is part of a bigger journey: helping our athletes reach their full potential on and off the court.

FOUNDING HISTORY
Victory Schools is a network of organizations in Arizona dedicated to serving vulnerable and underserved student populations. They operate a K-8 charter school, a 9-12 high school, and several private autism schools, along with a special needs school in Mexico. Victory Schools is nationally recognized for its innovative educational approach, ensuring that each student is supported at their individual level and empowered to become the best version of themselves.
In addition to a rigorous character education curriculum that instills values such as integrity, respect, and perseverance, Victory Schools offers a comprehensive social and emotional program. This initiative teaches students to understand their own feelings and those of others, helping them develop self-regulation skills, empathy, and sympathy. These skills are invaluable for students of all grades, ages, and backgrounds, fostering personal growth and positive relationships across our diverse student population.
Furthermore, all of our schools place a strong emphasis on real-life skills that prepare students for success beyond the classroom. Our curriculum includes practical lessons in financial literacy, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. By engaging students in hands-on projects and real-world scenarios, we equip them with the essential skills needed to navigate life’s challenges and thrive in their future endeavors. We empower our students to be successful in whatever they are pursuing in life through our comprehensive model, which encompasses social and emotional learning, life skills development, and character education. Each school’s mission culminates in the goal of achieving life success, ensuring that our students are not only academically prepared but also ready to become responsible and capable adults.
THE CORE
Victory Hooptown is our elite, year‑round basketball initiative designed specifically for Victory Schools students who aspire to reach collegiate levels. Born from the success and spirit of our first varsity basketball team in 2017–18, Hooptown takes that same passion off‑season and amplifies it through intensive training and competition.
Over six seasons, our program has been nothing short of remarkable:
Reached the state Final Four in four of those seasons
Came away as state runner‑up twice
And in the most recent year, we proudly captured the state championship
Hooptown builds on that legacy—offering focused skill development, elite coaching, and exposure opportunities that mirror top youth club systems.
Participants not only refine fundamentals like footwork, shooting, passing, and defense but also build the mental toughness and strategic understanding essential for college-level success .
But Victory Hooptown is more than basketball. It’s a platform where discipline, teamwork, and accountability translate into life readiness. Studies show youth sports are linked with higher academic performance, leadership skill, and improved character development . Through summer camps, league play, and mentorship, Hooptown fosters habits that propel our student-athletes forward—on the court and beyond.
